Astro Packaging/Slautterback® V3 Series Hot Melt Gear Pump

The V3 hot melt pump is a powerful addition to the Astro Packaging gear pump family. Compared to the V2 Series glue pump, they have larger bearings and larger shafts, plus positive forced lubrication. The V3 hot melt pump is constructed of sturdy corrosion resistant materials and offers robust performance. The V3 gear pumps are excellent for hard-to-handle materials and high viscosity adhesives

The V3 hot melt gear pumps are recommended for all Astro Packaging or Slautterback® high RPM motors and for continuous duty, high pressure applications. These hot melt pumps have the same smooth flow control system as the V2 glue pump, but the flow control valve is built into the body of the hot melt pump rather than in a separate block. V3 series glue pumps are available for all standard KB Series and AP Series melt units, and can be used as a direct, drop-in replacement for any V1 Series hot melt pump.
