Astro Packaging’s Nordson® style hot melt hoses are compatible with our AP Series melt units and Nordson® Blue Series, 2300 and 3000 series melters. Nordson® hot melt hoses use Ni120 sensors with 12/6 pin connection cables that relay temperature readings to the melt unit for accurate temperature control. Our Nordson® style hot melt hoses are wound with quality heating wires and are available with braided, water wash, hi-flex, and hi-flex water wash covers.
Nordson® style hot melt hoses with braided covers are designed for standard packaging applications where the glue gun doesn’t move. Unlike food and dairy applications, braided hot melt hoses don’t need protection to prevent the heated hose from wet or acidic environments.
