 The QX20 Hot Melt Unit​

​This is the premier unit of Astro Packaging's hot melt glue machines. Capable of supplying up to 20 lbs of melted material an hour, we designed this machine to withstand constant pressure. It also features a control panel that's operator-friendly and provides simple programming for up to nine temperature zones for different hot melt adhesives.

But the best part of the QX20 Hot melt unit is how it supports up to four hoses and guns. Designed with the same 12-pin hose connectors as Nordson® machines, you can use your same Nordson® hoses and guns with the QX20. Nordson® machines are famous for their use in food and beverage manufacturing with hot melt adhesives, but can be too pricey for some. The QX20 is a perfect replacement or substitute for Nordson® ProBlue, 2300, and 3000 Series Melters.

The QX20 glue machine also has several other useful features, such as:

• Trigger input for automatic standby, preventing continued heating while machine is not in operation.
• Low level sensor to alert operators when more adhesive is required.*
