 Dual output, high speed electric head driver - The Slautterback HD2a Head Driver is a solid state electronic device which enhances the performance of electric applicator heads to produce extremely accurate adhesive patterns. The HD2a increases the opening amd closing speed of the adhesive valve. This translates into sharper cut off and increased accuracy of pattern placement. The speed and precision of the HD2a are two times greater than the DC driver.
The HD2a opens a single electric valve in two to four milliseconds, holding it open for as few as one to two milliseconds. It is capable of firing a valve continuously every 15 milliseconds.
The HD2a supports two independent outputs to applicator valves with inputs from an ET Series Pattern Controller. Each output can simultaneously fire up to four standard electric applicator heads or up to eight E900TM Series valves. Standard electric applicator heads include E100, E100XT, M100, ML400 and S100 heads. The HD2a Head Driver, combined with a Slautterback ET pattern Controller, satisfies the most demanding adhesive pattern control requirements.
