Four Event Speed Tracker - The ET4-T Pattern Controller offers high precision control of two independent adhesive patterns at varying line speeds. With input from a remote tach generator, the microprocessor based ET4-T maintains constant pattern length by automatically adjusting each glue and gap event as line speed changes. The power for the internal processor combined with an extensive array of features equip the ET4-T for the most demanding high speed production environments.
The ET4-T simultaneously controls two glue patterns for two independent valve groups. A valve group consists of up to four E100 or M100 style valves or up to sixteen E900 style valves. A stitch pattern may be selected within the glue events for lighter deposition and adhesive savings.
A Slautterback Data Beam Photoeye may be added to initiate patterns for each independent valve group. The ET4-T is capable of initiating a repeat pattern before the first pattern is complete.
The ET4-T is enclosed in a dust proof, water resistant metal case. Internal wiring options and interface wiring are available on a convenient internal terminal strip. All circuits are optically isolated. A complete speed tracking control package includes an HD1 or HD2a Head Driver for increased pattern placement accuracy. The ET4-T and a head driver are available in a single enclosure in the CG or CH series controllers. To maintain constant adhesive pattern weight at varying line speeds, an FC1 Flow Controller is suggested.
