 The ITW Dynatec Convert-A-Drum provides an uninterrupted, metered flow of Pressure
Sensitive Hot Melt. The non-heated vertical
hopper (lower area) holds
approximately 800 lbs. of adhesive
which works its way
downward through melt
grids increasing the temperature
in stages until it
reaches the high accuracy
Zenith gear pump.
Staged melting minimizes
the adhesive exposure to
elevated temperatures and
virtually eliminates char.
A full drum can be staged
and ready to start the melting
process when level
sensors are activated.
