All Electric, 360 ° Rotation Extrusion Handgun - The L4 handgun is a versatile manual applicator for dispensing hotmelt adhesives, sealants and other thermoplastic materials. The handgun comes attached to a heated supply hose for use on Slautterback all electric manual melt units. The L4 extrudes adhesive dots or beads for packaging, product assembly and sealant applications.

Designed with the operator in mind, the L4 Handgun weighs less than two pounds. The cool touch handle contains no heated components or adhesive flow paths to cause operator discomfort. All heated components are enclosed within the exterior shell.

For demanding applications, the durable L4 Handgun features an impact-resistant molded shell for extended life. A 360 ° swivel connector allows complete rotation about the supply hose. The swivel allows for ergonomic L4 operation in any direction and extends hose life by eliminating hose twisting.

Handgun temperature is accomplished by a preset fixed thermostat or RTD sensor with a solid state temperature controller. Temperature control of the hose is regulated by an adjustable thermostat or solid state controller. The L4 is available in standard voltages with an 8, 12, or 16 foot supply hose and 0.040 inch standard nozzle.

An optional switch controls the pump motor with the handgun trigger. Optional extrusion nozzles and a down apply adapter are available to fit a variety of application requirements.
