 Miniature, High Performance, Pneumatic Applicators
The A900 Pneumatic modular series applicator heads are miniature, versatile and provide precise pattern placement. These applicators install in tight spaces commonly found on parent machinery.
The A900 features a unique, one piece carbide needle/ball tip for unsurpassed performance. Adhesive is fed to the manifold through a single hose. Each valve module feeds adhesive to a nozzle, ensuring sharp cutoff and providing multiple bead patterns from each applicator.
Quick-change modules with superior seal configuration provide high cycle rate capability and extended service for cost effective, long term operation. The rugged design features ensure uniform adhesive deposition and consistent patterns module-to-module on a single applicator. Positive air open and air close valving assures accurate pattern placement with virtually no adhesive tailing.
Available in low profile configuration, the A900 adapts to side, top or bottom-apply applications. Individual valve modules and blanking kits may be arranged on the manifold to yield specific adhesive pattern spacing. Valve modules are easily interchangeable for cleaning or replacement. The A900 accessory four-way valves accept AC or DC signals to energize the valve modules. Accurate temperature control to ±1 °F (1 °C) is achieved with RTD sensors and Slautterback microprocessor-based temperature controllers.
