The D2-15-B Hot Melt adhesive unit is designed with a constant speed direct drive motor / pump combination and adjustable output control. This extremely reliable melt unit holds 20 Lbs. of  hot melt butyl adhesive and will pump 180 inches of 1/2 inch bead per minute. The cylindrical tank design virtually eliminates any possibility of char build up. With an integrated melt fin design to insure consistent pump rates due to the flow through grid design. Capable of 2 hose and 2 applicators, the D2-15 temperature control is simple to operate. Features include alarm settings to insure all zones are running properly.

The cylindrical tank design provides a large opening for ease of filling and cleaning. The melt grid is simple to remove for ease of cleaning.

 

System power circuit breaker protects the entire system from overload.

A tank mounted overtemperature switch turns the tank heater off in the event of a tank controller failure.

A thermal overload protector switches the motor off in the event of a stall or overload condition to protect the pump.

A pump warm-up switch protects the pump-drive mechanism by preventing motor/pump operation below 250F.

A large selection of low maintenance, single and multi-orifice dispensing nozzles provide precise, automatic adhesive pattern deposition for a wide variety of cartoning and packaging applications.
