Heavy Duty, All Electric, Modular Applicator

The all electric M100 Modular head offers the versatility of attaching one to eight valve modules to a single heated manifold. The M100 Series extrudes beads or dots of adhesive or other thermoplastic material for a wide range of packaging and product assembly applications. Depending on flow requirements, the manifold connects to a no.6 or 8 heated supply hose. The M100 Series can be configured for AC or DC signals to energize the electric coil on standard or high speed valve modules.

The M100 Series allows a user to specify the number and spacing of modules needed for a specific application. The spacing from nozzle tip to nozzle tip can be as close as 1.75 inches (44.45 mm) or up to a total manifold width of 24 inches (609.60 mm).

Two screws attach valve modules to the manifold for quick removal or replacement. Components are derived from the proven valve, coil and nozzle assembly of the Slautterback E100 head. The M100 Series eliminates the need for compressed air or a complex valving mechanism. The valving assembly consists of a single moving part, two static o-rings and a solenoid mounted on the valve block. The valve modules use standard E100 nozzles.
